This Army wedding in the Inland Empire was one for the books. Madison and Richie know how to throw a party!
This romantic couple found us on Green Wedding Shoes where Behind the DJ Booth is a preferred vendor. During our first meeting, we talked extensively about the look of Red Hill Country Club in Rancho Cucamonga. The venue was truly unique because the country club did not look like a traditional golf club but had a lot of historical elements. The exterior had brick elements and the interior where the reception was held looked more like a classic hotel.
This couple has a unique story as well. Richie is a West Point graduate and a pilot in the Army. Both Madison and Richie will be living in South Korea for a few years while Richie is stationed. Madison is totally into fashion design and Richies love Top Gun, fitting for a pilot!
These two were born in the 90's so we wanted to incorporate that fact into their party. We selected varying songs from that era including lots of tracks you can sing along to and dance! A few artists I played included the Backstreet Boys, Nsync, No Doubt, and Smash Mouth! I also mixed in hits by George Michael, Postal Service, Outkast, 112, and The Notorious B.I.G.
One of the best parts of the day aside from the awesome party out on the dance floor happened during the cake cutting. Richie decided to cut the cake with his cadet's sword. Also at one point, along with his fellow West Point cadet's, Richie performed a few songs from Top Gun.
The guests danced and partied the night and the dance floor was always filled with people and at one point the guests raised up Madison and Richie above their shoulders and started throwing them up in the air. Now THAT'S a party!!
