This is officially the first blog post and the first of many to come.
As an Orange County, California based DJ, I had the opportunity to partner with an up and coming street wear lifestyle clothing designer based in Huntington Beach - The Continuous Line. Over the past two years, we've worked with Mesa in Costa Mesa to present "A Continuous Night".
Each event highlighted the latest designs from the Continuous Line. And local artists traveled from both the Los Angeles area and Orange County to perform. During both evenings, I performed an eclectic DJ set which combined both classic Hip Hop and Indie Rock/Pop.
The DJ set I performed really described the crowd in attendance. The Mesa regulars typically consists of hipsters, blazer wearing professionals and high-heeled, stylishly dressed fashionistas. And the Continuous Line fans are themselves hip street wear sneaker heads and bohemian artists. Both groups mingled, danced and enjoyed themselves.
"A Continuous Night" has been a success each year, which is why I look forward to another DJ set at Mesa and working with The Continuous Line.
